Always a mom

I'm currently sitting in the recovery room with my daughter. She just had a "lap chole" ie she had her gallbladder out. It seems it was inflamed and her pain was justified. Not that there was a question anyway but reassuring to know surgery was warranted.

My daughter is 18 and legally an adult, she even signed all the consent forms, but I would have been no place today but by her side. Always a mom. She wanted me here as well. I have held her hand and helped her drink juice. I am glad to it and now she is in recovery grateful all went well.

Now matter how old my girls get they will always be my babies.
