I guess Fall is here. It's bittersweet for me, I love Fall but not so much the cold Winter.

These flowers and gourds are on my front step waiting for the first frost and Trick or Treaters.

Good Byes

I hate good byes,

They are so hard to say.

Why is it the best,

Are so far away?

Across fields and forests,

And oceans and rivers.

The heart can travel,

The love it delivers.

In person or spirit,

The soul is accepted.

Nothing in the way,

No love interrupted.

Boats and bicycles,

Cars and planes.

Hearts are joined,

Just a hug remains.

Save the sorrow,

 And think of this rhyme.

No more good byes,

Only until next time.

I love Cosmos. The flowers are pretty and the plant is interesting. I can't wait 'til next year, my garden is going to rock.
