Our dishwasher is broken, dead, no longer functioning. RIP. So I bought a larger dish drain and now have to wash the
Now the contest begins.....How high can you go?
Notice my strategy? A large flat "piece" at each end to balance dishes against. Plates lined up underneath and round things on top. Plastic at the very top so if it falls off, no matter. Smaller items and rinsed cans for recycling and returning sprinkled in the openings. I particularly like the shot glasses balanced on the cutlery.
Have a great weekend!!

I'm so sorry your dishwasher broke. I lived with the world's worst one for so many years. I finally got a Bosch and I have loved it every day since:)
Oddly, when the dishwasher "fairy" unloads our dishwasher and stacks them in the cupboard, they look just like that!
Hope a new a machine lands on your doorstep soon! - G
Welcome to my club. It is called "The Pile the Shit High Club." Due to your God given talents, you are being accepted in with higher rank than long time members. We are honored to have you!
haha...nice...means you can go longer without doing the dishes right?
A work of art! I pride myself on my balancing skills as well--drives my husband crazy!
wow - we did that how high can you go thing at school in the washrooms, lol.
Your photo will give me nightmares. My dishwasher is 19 years old....it's on its last legs!
WHOA!! You're good!
I do that with all the ones that don't fit in the dishwasher. Those holders can handle A LOT! Impressive :)
I can't tell you how many dishes I've washed by hand. We didn't have a dishwasher growing up. In fact, my parents just got a dishwasher when they remodeled their kitchen 2 years ago. I am very skilled in dish piling.
I think my wife has you beat. ;) She cheats a little, but her pile is HIGH. I'm much more organized and I usually don't stack anything on top of plates/bowls except for cups. ;)
