Diet Challenge week 3

I figure most of you are bored with this all by now but for those that aren't and so I can keep track, I stayed the same this week. :-( Adam gained a few but he has been on vacation so it is understandable. I am sure he will be on track this week.

Last time I was at my doctors office I asked for the name of a nutritionist and we got talking and she forgot, so I am going to call her and today about that and see what she/he can advise. I work so hard at the gym and watch what I eat.... I need some new strategies.

I'm not giving up, if anything I am more determined than ever..... There was no side bet this week which figures since I technically won!! What about this week Adam?

What strategies work for you?

Keep up the good work.
Go out and buy a dress a size smaller and use it as your Inspiration Dress!
Spoil yourself....you deserve it!

Stay away from sugar and stuff like fried food and a lot of bread. drink a lot of water and eat portion controlled meals. I have lost 60 lbs in the last year doing that. (Oh yea, watch the snacks! LOL)

Good for you! I have to tell ya, though, vacation does wonders for my relaxation factor, but not so much on the healthy-eating front...

the battle continues so do you. it's tough but you can do this, use whatever resources. i have to keep some items out of my house. too tempting.

It's interesting that you're going for different methods, ie gym vs running. It's all about the destination, eh?

Staying the same def beats gaining so congrats to you!
One week I didnt' drink very much water each day and I stayed the same, regardless of being on the treadmill frequently and watching my calories. Water water water!

What about putting them on a different page and accessing them from a tab?

Have you ever read "Naturally Thin?" by Bethenney Frankel? I was trying to lose some pesky 10 pounds and until I read that book, I couldn't get them off.

One recommendation: always leave two bites of food on your plate. When you add up the amount of calories you'd save after every meal, it's over 1,000 a week! Don't give up.
