I Want To Have Another Man's Baby

 Snuggled up

Yep it's true, I want another man's baby. Not that way..............ha ha. I want the baby he has now. Remember when I went to Cleveland in February? No? You can read about it here and here. I went to Cleveland to meet Adam from Throwing Quarters and his family. I had a lovely time and fell in love with his little daughter Addison. She is the most adorable baby I have had the pleasure to meet in years. [all my friends but one are well past the baby days]

Adam and his wife Jenn post pictures of their children on twitter from time to time to tease me with her cuteness [ok I'm exaggerating]. My daughter schleyguy has also fallen for Addi and she has only seen her in pictures. We think it is her kissable cheeks. They are chubby and when she smiles, her whole face smiles.

When I was in Cleveland I spent a fair amount of time with Addi and she never fussed as some babies would do with a stranger. She is good natured and playful. Jenn tells me she is a screamer when she is hungry or tired. So are my kids I said..

Delicious big sister Audrey and adorable Addison

Last evening I was texting with Adam telling him the most recent picture he posted of Addi was cute and that I wanted her and he said, "she's mine". I offered to trade a teen, just for a little while.

His answer, "lol"

I texted back "fine :( ", and then "Don't get me wrong Audrey [his older daughter]  is delicious too but not a baby. You've done well. Not that mine aren't gorgeous but they are smelly adults"

His reply "LOL! Now that's funny"

I said, "You just wait. (I'm always funny)"

"Lol, right. I love you said addison is delicious"

"Audrey" I corrected. "She's such a dear so mature" [she's a grown up 8]

We talked about other stuff, I think he was trying to get my mind off wanting Addi, and that was the end of the conversation.

This morning Adam told me he told Audrey I called her "delicious" she laughed and made a funny face. She'll get it when she's older.

I've tried this on his wife with no luck. I guess they want to keep her.
How adorable is she, especially with her NE Patriots bib

You all can see by the pictures how cute Addison is, don't you think he should share her with me? My daughtres love her too. I am way past having a baby and my daughters are still too young. I think it only fair that I am allowed to have this mans baby.

My phone let me read your blog! My old phone never did. I'm afraid the best I could do for you is loan her out for a night or two ;) I'm pretty attached to her. I'll have to get some pictures up soon. Thank you for thinking my baby is so adorable!

At least your smelly teens are potty trained. She is adorable but I love other people's babies - no clean up involved.

She definitely is adorable, if she were mine I'd want to keep her too. It doesn't seem like a fair trade to swap her with a teen!!

My kids are teenagers now. I really miss the days when they were fresh babies. So cute and cuddly. But a borrowed baby is even better. No diaper changes required.
