I have all the answers....Part 3

I know you all have been anxiously waiting for me to continue to aswer the questions submitted, so here goes part 3.

Cathy from Antsy Pants [my she is a curious one] asked about my best vacation. This one is easy. In December of 2008 I went to England by myself. Yep, no kids and no husband and it was marvelous. I was turning 50 that year so I treated myself to a vacation. While I was there I met up with some friends I had met on Pure Robbie , a fan site devoted to the pop star Robbie Williams [see link on left side bar] My friend Tracey drove me all over the UK and we visited lots of members of the site. We also took time to visit my dad who was there at the time [they own a home in March].

The best family vacation would have to be, a few years earlier when we all drove down to Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia. We saw the historical sites and went to Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. We hope to go back soon since there is so much more to see.

************************

Alice over at Alice in Wonderland wanted to know the best and worst places I have traveled. I haven't found the best yet since there are so many places to see. I do love to visit my friends, where ever they may live and see what their lives are like. People will ask why I am going to Indianapolis or Cleveland, not your tourist hot spots, and I say because friends live there. We have always found great things to do and see.

I haven't found a worst place yet but I didn't enjoy all the delays and getting stranded in the snow when I travelled this past February.... but hey at least it wasn't volcanic ash.

***********************

Carma from Carma Sez took a futuristic approach and asked how I planned to spend my retirement. Now there's food for thought. Ideally and if all my 401K's behave I would like to do more travelling. Visiting more exotic places around the world. I have always wanted to see the pyramids in Egypt.

I hope to be a grandmother, they says its great cuz you get to give the crying babies back to mom and dad. I would also like to be a better gardener, keeping up with the perennials.

***********************

And finally Steven Anthony who blogs at No excuse, No expanation wanted to know, if I was stranded on an island for the rest of my life what three things would I want. [food isn't an issue] This is a tough question but I decided I would need music, sunscreen and a beautiful man to apply it for me.

**********************

Seems there will be a part 4 in the future sometime. Seems a lot are interested in my taste in food and music. Also Ian at The Daily Dose of Reality emailed me a long list of questions. He'll probably have to have his own post... what I do for my friends.

Hey now... Indy is a great tourist destination...

You should come in May and come to the track... there's nothing like it.

I love traveling too and you certainly seem to be lucky enough to do quite a bit of it. I wish money weren't such a hindrance in that regard!

Once again a good and fun read. Thanks....smile

Honestly, I've looked at his site and his Wikipedia entry, and I still haven't the faintest clue who Robbie Williams is.

See me? This is what jealousy looks like. Solo trip sounds nice.

Yes, I am curious. I love learning about my blog friends. I love to travel too! Also, I need a plan... It involves me becoming a grandmother without first being a mom. See, being a grandma is awesome, but I being a mom isn't really something I'm into right now. I think when my niece's get older I'll just pretend like their kids are my grandkids. That could totally work right?!
