Sunday Rerun-Ease

I'll lighten it up today after Fridays dark poem. This poem was presented as a challenge. Someone asked me to write a poem about a certain topic. You'll know what it is by the end, I don't want to spoil it now.

Ease

There are things out there
Made just to please.
We each have to find them,
What puts us at ease.

For some it is a hobby,
Others it is a sport.
To each his own I say,
Something one has to sort.

Often a good meal
Is all that is called for.
Just to be waited on,
Dinner, drinks and more.

But sometimes all I need,
To put me at ease.
Is a bag of Doritos,
And the only flavor-blue cheese.

Ha Ha Ha Ha : ) My son loves Doritos too! They are his favorite snack! I like tortilla chips with salsa as a favorite, I think. Sadly though, there are very few snacks I don't love...

Gawd I love me some blue cheese, especially on top of a steak. Love the light hearted poem.

This is more than just a light-hearted poem--it's a treatise on life and all that is sacred. I shall be explicating it all day!

I was so with you until you busted out the blue cheese. SICKNESS. This may take some time for me to recover from.

Coffee,.. only coffee has that magical effect on me. And a slice of burnt sugar cake to totally mellow me out.

I think my son would have to agree on this one - well, maybe except for the flavor.

Awesome poem my dear!

I especially like the Doritos part...although, the msg would do me in. I'd better stick to my fruit tea with honey. I know it's a little boring but it's comforting. Be well.
