Justifiable Homicide Tuesday

Welcome to Justifiable Homicide Tuesday. I know it sounds a bit dire but I had to have somewhere to post those gripes that just about drive me over the edge of sanity... and believe me I am close enough to insane as it is.

To get my point across here is a perfect example ... happened on Saturday on the way to Logan Airport to pick up a friend. We are in line at a toll on the Massachusetts Turnpike, we have been in this line for what seems like hours [I am not very patient]. We got in this line because the signs, a mile back, indicated the right two lanes were for Cash... the left two are for the EZPass Users. As we get closer to actually paying the toll, the losers that either didn't see the signs or chose to ignore them now want to cut in front of us. They have run out of room and need to get in the correct lane. Guess what, I am not feeling so generous and you can sit there with your blinker on and wait like the rest of us. I suppose some good samaritan let them in but it wasn't my turn to be nice today.

So now you get the point, come back on Tuesdays, if you'd like and read what pissed me off this week. Air your gripes as well if you'd like, here or on your own blog. I always feel better when I get things off my chest, and know someone else understands. Just grab the badge and join in.

I love the badge, made with the skilled hands of  Nap Warden.

Indeed! Slapped, and then left waiting for a merge-opportunity that just won't happen!

Oh I'm a fan of this. I woke up after a hot sex dream with Gerard Butler, so my Tuesday started off well.

Hello. My name is Think Tank Momma and I have Road Rage-aholic. It has been two days since my last outburst. I nearly got out of my car and beat an old lady to death for stopping in the middle of a busy highway for no apparent reason.

I have a feeling if I grabbed the badge I would have to change it to "I do nothing but gripe all the damn time, and now Vodka Logic came me a stamp of approval to do so". Not a good idea, once I start, I can't stop!

I don't do well with non-drivers. People think just because they turn on their blinkers it gives them the right of way for whatever.

VL,
the ones that do that make you wonder what the hell they are thinking, same thing happens in store parking lots, I get oooooh so maaaad.

I hate drivers who don't know how to drive, don't pay attention while driving, text while driving, leave their brights on, drive too slowly, forget their blinker...ok, I hate most drivers.

Yes, that makes me think of those people who ride the shoulder and then want back in later. NO!!!

Oh, I could do whole posts on driving rants alone! Oh, wait, I have done them! haha!

Justifiable Homicide. . . now you're talking!

carma said...

let's add to the list those who think they are far better than any of the suckers waiting in line and decide to drive on the shoulder and then cut in - guess again!

dont think they would ever convict you...you might get the key to the city...

Hell, NO, I'm not letting them in. Wait in line like the rest of us, especially if they drove around a whole line. Did they think there was a lane just for them?

I have a difficult time 'sharing' when it comes to letting people out and in. I admit it. I have to make myself stop and wave someone in or out. But when I'm sitting looking at a line of traffic and no one is giving me a break, I whine.

Oh and I've been leaving off rants on my blog because I haven't had a "place" to put them.

Now, I'm going to be trying to decide which will rise to the top for next week. Becasue I'm doing this with you on Tuesdays! (Some people in my hood are driving me CRAZY!!!)

I can't join this Tuesday club of yours. My blog is only about things that tick me off and the ranting about them. Can I have a Justifiable Homicide Blog???

As one Mass drive who has refused to get an EZPass, I suffer through the same lane confusion and line jumpers. The fun part is that you know it's going to happen and there's nothing you can do about it.

Isn't it great to vent! Must confess, I was in the CASH line yesterday, pouring down rain. I toss in 2 quarters (I thought) but light stays red. I'm helpless. What to do? Cashier finally hangs her head out and says, "You only gave me 30 cents!" Sorry! Toss another quarter. Go. Sorry to all those I held up. Hope it wasn't you!!!! LOL. Wouldn't that be a hoot!

I confess that I can be less than generous in those circumstances as well.

Those drivers are SO annoying! They are the same ones who change lanes fifty times just to get ahead by two cars on the highway. Nice.

Those drivers drive me insane.

magda said...

fukkerz. you know, i find myself especially peeved by specific types of cars whose drivers can be counted on to pull that stunt. what a great post to read as i re-emerge myself to the blogger world. i have missed reading your posts so much and appreciate you stopping by to check on me.

can you imagine reading a post by someone who felt all kind and magnanimous, benevolent enough to offer entry to the long line?

magda said...

i want to grab that nifty badge and join in but... i require more than one day a week to vent.
can you modify the badge to say (in fine print) and all other applicable days. xxo

Hey there...looks like you have a hit on your hands. I'll change the badge when I dig out from the hole I'm in:O

Frugal Vicki said...

That drives me absolutely insane. I don't usually let them in either. Plus, when you do let them in, they don't even acknowledge that you did, and that just makes me more mad.
