Twitter made me famous.....sort of
First I want to thank all my blogger friends for the advice about whether to take my youngest daughter E to NYC. It was overwhelming in her favor to stay home. So it is settled and she has her dress and accessories picked out for the dance. I will post pictures another time. It isn't a conventional outfit but as I have said before, one her great traits is to "walk to the beat of her own drum"
I have the greatest children ever. My oldest daughter has posted a blog on her site that about brought me to tears stop by and say hi. Something about Nothing & Everything Else
As for the title of todays blog, beause of Twitter my "name" is in Q Magazine. It is an import here in the US but I buy it every month without fail and often read it cover to cover. I was reading the Cash for Questions article they have each month and was intrigued by one of the questions submitted by someone in Massachusetts so as I read on and saw the name of who submitted the question it was none other than me!!
For those that don't know, Cash for Questions is a monthy feature where readers can submit questions to the celebrity, singer, whoever they are featuring in a future issue. Questions are sent in mostly by email and now twitter apparently. After reading the question I barely remember tweeting it. I follow Q on Twitter so for a lark must have asked the question and promptly forgot. So needless to say I was quite thrilled to see it there in black and white. I have sent in letters to the editor before but not had one published. Question now is .... where's my cash.

How very very neat!!! Congrats and let us know when you get the cash and what you do with it, yacht, ski chalet, cruise around the world or pay the cell phone bill??
OH NO! I popped over to your daughters site to leave a message, only to find that she has one of those embedded thingys that I can never get onto! They are the CURSE of my life! There are so many sites that I would like to leave messages on, but I can't because of these THINGS!
Please sent her my regards, and that I tried to leave a comment.
I buy "Q" every month too, but I'm not that keen on Ant and Dec, even though I once worked with them before they became really famous on a programme called "Byker Grove". Other English readers will know it!
Big Hugs!

Love it.
YAY. How exciting! I had a letter to the editor published in my local newspaper in the early 90s...I'll never forget all the hate mail it brought. I was speaking out against Newt Gingrich saying women had no place in combat and apparently a lot of old-fashioned people who believe a woman's place is in the home are prone to writing letters to those who write letters to the editor... It was the first and LAST time I did that!
It's always exciting to see your name in print! Congrats! xoxo
Excellent! To see your name in black and white!!!
Also - read your daughter's great tribuute. I'd think you were the best mom too if you took me to see Eddie Izzard!!! He's GREAT!!!
Glad I found your blog.
Cheers
