My oldest daughter is a big fan of Eddie Izzard, as is my youngest and myself but K, is nuts for him. She discovered he is coming to Boston and the presale was today. Armed with the password and logged on well ahead of time I was able to secure some decent tickets. We had closer ones and decided to try again, but I do think seats at a slant make it easier to see for shorties like me. The arrows point to the approximate location of our seats.

Eddie Izzard there are plenty of videos on youtube. He is a bit bawdy and oh yeah a cross dresser. He is very British in his humor. It must go with my, and the kids to a lesser degree, love of British rock and roll.
He is currently running marathons around the UK for charity and is on
his 40th I think. He is fun to follow on Twitter.

I've never heard of him before. But when you mentioned about him as a good bet, I did read about him in Wikipedia and saw a few shows of him in YouTube (James Bond, Supermarket Psychology and Scary Movie). You were right - he's hilarious.

OH JEALOUS! I skipped over from 3 Bedroom Bungalow to find the luckiest person ever. Man, it sucks living in the country. :( A friend of mine got to see him last year. She said he was no longer doing the full on cross dresser thing. That makes me sad.

I didn't know angled seats were bad for shorties. I'm a shorty too. I would have thought that would be to our advantage?

I saw him live in the UK years and years ago and he was fabulously funny. He even signed my program. Awwww! For the signing he wore a black suit, full make up and pink stilettos. He was very nice!
