Five days and counting until we drive off to NYC for the weekend, and this is my snack of choice for the day. I have a sore throat and my eyes are watery..... It is a conspiracy, the youngest and husband have been sick.... couldn't keep it to themselves....noooo are they going away this weekend noooooo....... Good news is Halls now comes in strawberry. Cherry sucks. Cherry throat lozenges is why I hate cherry candy. Speaking of lozenges, I had a bit of a tiff with the husband once because I thought it was lozengeRs and he said there was no R...damn him he was right.
Off for a nap.........zzzzzz

Greys went a little south during and after the writers strike. I blame the writers. It's not BACK BABY!! and in full effect. The 2nd half of this season has really rocked and I expect it to continue. You need to jump back on the wagon!
Awww.. sorry to hear that you are feeling puny while you are on your way to NYC! If you get a chance we should meet for lunch one day! I am here in NYC in midtown Manhattan - not sure where you are headed - but regardless - have a GREAT trip and feel better soon! :o)

Ohhh get rid of this NOW!!! I was in Costco on Friday and saw the BIG bottle of Cold FX (168 tabs for $60) I think that is a good investment because between the two of us ( post secondary school and hospital) we are surrounded by germs!!

I don't like any throat lozenges. They all taste awful!!
Rest, chicken soup, and Theraflu is my remedy of choice.

This grandma recommends hot chicken soup and broth, gargle with salt water and drink lots of fluids. Oh my gosh I sound like my mom...many years ago as I'm 63...ewwww they mother thy self..

That you refer to them as a snack is f***ing, the best. Is it ok to swear on your blog? Did you ever use the Ludens Brand...They come only in cherry is this cute little box. They are not mentholated though. Feel better soon. Is it wrong that I am glad you are sick so that I have the good fortune of laughing at this entry?

I got a flu shot last week and of course that is no good for a cold.
Magda, swearing is acceptable but laughing at my illness....hmmm... well ok. I do try to write with a bit of humor even at my own expense.

I agree, cherry sucks, but I don't like strawberry either. Be careful, if your lozenge has eucalyptus it could make your sore throat worse. You might want to think about something with a honey base. CVS makes a good one.
