Anyway, the girls started school last week. The oldest is a junior in college (yikes) and the youngest is a sophomore in high school.. (almost yikes). The youngest is always gone by the time I get home from school and last year the oldest would leave as soon as I got home, we share my car. This year her first class isn't until 930am so she can hang out a bit in the morning. This is fine we often watch what ever she has DVR'd (is that a word? it should be) the night before. Even if I went straight to bed she doesn't bother me for the most part, but there is the inevitable burst into my room with "do you have appts this afternoon or can I take the car to work" or a variation on that. This morning however my husband dropped her off at college since I have an appt at noon. Thusly NO ONE home.
And what do I do, go to bed and get much needed rest, go out for coffee, or a nice hot shower, no I blog about it...... I really need my head examined.

I really want to thank everyone who had such kind things to say about my last few poems (and blogs too). I am glad so many can relate. It is nice to know I am not alone in how I feel about things. And one of you asked if I was "inside his head"...you better hope not or you will be crazy soon.
Yesterday got even better when after the BBQ I checked my favorite bloggers and found I was given another blog award. This one from WhiteSockGirl I really appreciate it and thank you for such kind words about my blog. As WhiteSockGirl said in her blog she isn't too sure what what the award is about but hey a compliment is a compliment and I take it graciously. The best part is the minimal rules..give to who you want and however many people you want too.

My youngest started his college classes today. He was away at school last year but he's living at home going to the community college this semester until he transfers to his new university, hopefully in January.

EXACTLY! my son is at school, my baby is asleep. i should be catching up on my sleep, or cleaning, or laundry, or scrapping, or returning calls but instead i am blogging. hence the blogging hoorbag misnomer.

SITS is a great site to find new blogs and look for followers. when i find a really great blog i love i just look at what they're following, that gives me lots of blogs too.

Just to clarify, DVR'd is most definitely a word. I use it daily! Way better then my mom informing me she's "taped" things. No tape involve, mama! It ain't a VCR! ;)

I really like your poems. It's super easy to post a video. If It's Youtube just copy the HTML link and then add a widget and paste the html code into the widget. That's what I do, I'm sure there's an easier way but this works for me.
