I am now officially on vacation again. I was somewhat surprised to get the week off but I think the supervisor felt bad about my last vacation (I spent it in the hospital for those that don't know)
I leave in the morning.. ass crack of dawn.. my daughter would say, for Indiana. Who goes to Indiana on vacation? I do. I met Rush on line and we have been great friends ever since. She has been out east to visit me and I am headed to corn country to visit her. She says I will be bored but I have never been to Indiana so it can't be that bad. Besides it isn't here and not work. My 14 year old daughter is coming with me for a change of scenery as well. Rush has a 14 year old daughter too so what could go wrong... you don't have to answer that. Fourteen is a tough age but with a few martinis under our belts I am sure they will get along fine.. or we just won't care.
My health is returning so I am not worried about a repeat of the last attempt at a holiday. (I did by flight insurance just in case) I still have some aches and pains in my knee and back but they are improving. I am sure the self medicating (see above) will help with that as well. No worries about my vodka intake, it isn't as excessive as it sounds but this trip may see a few extra glasses. I think I/we have earned them.
As for my Twitter button not working, I am not sure if it is "me" or the Twitter site. I have had trouble with the site since it was hacked yesterday. Sometimes I can post and sometimes I can't. I will give it a few days before I try to fix it. Be patient.

Good Luck and have a great vacation. Two 14yr old girls together could get a little crazy. you might want to buy a couple of bottles of tequila, to get through that adventure.
14yrs old, I was shaving my legs, talking about boys, dreaming about boys. I think everything I did live, breath, eat revolved around boys and who liked who. I never understood what it meant to have BF at that age either. All we ever did was have lunch together at lunch time and that's it. No phone calls or going to the movies. lol
I think that's why I wanted a boy so bad. I don't want to have to do all the motherly things that need to be done with a girl when she turns 14. lol
Good points but once they pass 14 and even now to some extent they are great friends.
And you know the saying. "Once a daughter always a daughter but a son's a son til he takes a wife"
Or something like that...
