My First Blog Award

I was thrilled to get a comment from a fellow blogger, Scholastic Scribe, that I had received an award. I have been at this blogging thing for just over a year and this helps make it all worthwhile. She calls it the Superior Scribbler Award. She created the award because of her "love affair with the written word."

"What is a Superior Scribbler? One who employs mad skillz to communicate in this crazy, crazy world. Who pontificates, explains, memorializes & entertains. Who has a funny bone & is not afraid to use it. Whose cyber-crib we return to again & again, because it just feels right."

One of the best parts of the award is that you have to pass it along to five fellow bloggers you think are worthy. Pay it forward so to speak.

Below are the "rules" of the award.

**Each Superior Scribbler I name today must in turn pass The Award on to 5 most-deserving Bloggy Friends.

**Each Superior Scribbler must link to the author & the name of the blog from whom he/she has received The Award.

**Each Superior Scribbler must display The Award on his/her blog, and link to this post, which explains The Award.

**Each Blogger who wins The Superior Scribbler Award must visit this post and add his/her name to the Mr. Linky List. That way, we'll be able to keep up-to-date on everyone who receives This Prestigious Honor.

**Each Superior Scribbler must post these rules on his/her blog.

Now for the hard part, picking just five from all the great blogs I read. Melissa B. happened to also bestow this award on a couple of bloggers I would have picked so apparently we share some common reads.

David L Macaulay at Brits in the USA

Throwing Quarters at Throwing Quarters

fiftyodd at fiftyodd

Yankee Girl at Adventures of a Yankee Girl

Rick Daley at My Daley Rant

I hope you enjoy my choices. I always look forward to their posts.

And again thank you to Melissa B.

Congrats to you too, and thanks for visiting!

I didn't post the rules, and I contacted my recipients via email (well, 3 of them) but strangely have not heard back yet. Maybe it only means something coming from the Queen Scribe ;)

I'd like a cucumber martini now! Yum!

I posted in their comments section as she did for me. Hopefully they will be pleased as well.

Congrats you deserve it. Drinking Martini's should be a law, you need one once a day, Just kidding.

Me, I don't like martinis. Mojitos and margaritas are more my speed... but I'm still very happy for your win. Congrats!

P.S. Can someone tell me what "SITS" means? I see it everywhere?
